Absolutely incredible. To start we got the Sea Bass Tempura and wow. It was amazing. Came out hot, so crispy and melted in your mouth. A favorite dish. Then we got the seaweed salad, which was classic, good flavors and tasted fresh. After came the Spicy crab crispy rice. Super tasty as well. For my main I got the Sesame Crusted Shrimp roll and let me just say it is the best sushi roll i've ever had. I mean. It was perfect. The combination of the thinly breaded, yet crispy shrimp was delicious. Along with the pairing of the red curry sauce, the flavors worked wonderfully. The chocolate meltdown for dessert was a perfect way to end the night. The service was fast, always grabbing a dirty plate when needed. The place was dimly lit and perfect for a date night. Terrific!

Ended up at BondST after a show at the Shed & I wasn't disappointed. Selected BondST after looking at the other 5th floor Hudson Yards restaurant menus. Once I saw the $20 sushi rolls, I realized that I'll get the most bang for my buck as the others had appetizers starting at $30. A nice touch is that they serve a complimentary edamame for the table. The rolls were good as well- spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, & lobster tempura (my fav). The ~$20 lychee martini wasn't bad either, but I've had better. The servers are nice enough and they never let your water cup go dry or let you eat off of a dirty plate. There was a small wait to place our orders, but I assume he thought we were reading over the menu. The star of the restaurant was the location. From our seats near the window, you could see the Vessel. A beautiful view of the city. Inside was equally beautiful- modern Asian vibe. Bamboo on the ceilings, dim lighting, seating with vine flowers- all very romantic.

A fun spot for sushi tucked into a SoHo brownstone -- it's a classy, dim-light spot that's perfect for a date night or special occasion. We made a reservation for a post-work dinner and were seated promptly. I liked all of the dishes we ordered, with my favorite being the Tuna Crispy Rice -- they have lots of fun sauces and dressings which really add to the dish, so it's a little less traditional but a lot of flavor. I'd come back, especially to try their cocktail menu!

I made a reservation with my fiancé to celebrate our engagement at BondST on a Sunday night at 7pm. This place was highly recommended to me by a friend so we wanted to check it out. The restaurant is located inside an old brownstone in NoHo which is unassuming from the outside but fully transforms into this romantic, grand, and elegant space once you step inside with its tall ceilings, dim lights, and minimalist decor. Our waiter was nice and attentive in a very genuine, personable way which did not feel forced or exaggerated. He gave us a rundown of the menu for food and got our drink orders while we thought about what food to get. My fiancé got the Smoked Mule cocktail which had hints of ginger, apple, and a hint of smokiness from the mezcal which worked very well. I got a Shiso Cucumber which was light, refreshing, and delicious. Both cocktails were amazing and not too sweet. For food, we were advised to order everything at once so the chef could figure out in what order to bring out the dishes. We ordered - warm mushroom salad: citrusy, refreshing, but hearty with a combination of different mushroom types that all had different flavors/ textures: nutty, earthy, meaty, crispy. Would order again! - big eye tuna tarts: one of the stars of the show. Paper thin rice cracker with tuna that just melted in your mouth over a layer of the most rich and decadent creamy ponzu and truffle oil. My favorite dish! - tuna crispy rice: another highlight of this super creamy tuna with gochujang over crispy rice. Came with 5 pieces originally but we added on a 6th so we didn't have to fight over the last one. - spicy crispy shrimp: my fiancé's favorite dish! This was actually amazing. The shrimp were so meaty and generously sized and had a delicate layer of tempura over them that was a little crispy without being too thick. The sauce these came in was addictive. It came with a green salad that had a deliciously refreshing dressing. Already want to have these again. - pressed eel roll: sweet soy with tender eel and crunchy slivered almonds! Very nice roll with good texture and flavor. - nigiri: we tried both the big eye tuna nigiri which was a very lean and the seared salmon belly. The salmon belly was definitely our favorite, it was so buttery and flavorful and had the perfect slight char. It came topped with a caper which added the perfect umami burst. Mouthwatering!! - scallop jalapeño roll: I'm usually not a huge scallop person but wow this roll truly blew me away. The scallop was so juicy and buttery but not fishy at all. The roll had a nice spicy kick that was well balanced by the yuzu kosho sauce. Very impressive roll in my opinion. - green tea mille crepe: the dessert was amazing! This had subtle sweetness contrasted by the mild bitterness of the green tea. The balance was perfect. The texture was also super light and fluffy! I really liked the crispy caramelized topping. They brought it out with a candle and "congratulations" written on it. Super cute :) Overall, I had an amazing dinner here and it made our occasion feel so special! The ambiance is really nice and elevated, the service was exceptional, and the food blew our minds with how delicious it was. This place is definitely on the pricier side but it is worth it if you have a special occasion to celebrate and can get a reservation. Looking forward to returning in the future for another celebration!

Overall really like this place and would recommend it. We loved everything we had & the only thing preventing my review from being 5 stars is the aggressive use of wasabi underneath the nigiri. The wagyu skirt steak appetizer & the tuna tarts are stand outs. The tuna tarts were a rec from our waiter & was so glad we got that as it was delicious. We ordered a ton of nigiri and while the fish seemed of good quality we didn't enjoy it properly as they put a ton of wasabi under the fish. I really wished they state this on the menu as we don't love wasabi & it ruined the taste for us. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Drinks are strong and tasty. Ambiance is vibey and dimly lit. Will definitely return but will be asking for no wasabi next time. ;)

One of the best sushi restaurants I have been to in New York! Coming from California I had high expectations and this met a lot of them. We had a large group and ordered around 100 pieces of sashimi amongst several other dishes and apps. The tuna appetizer was so incredible coming from someone who typically does not eat tuna. The yellowtail was a 9/10 which is a high rating for me. Everything was prepared excellently and the service was exceptional. The server knew what to recommend and was very quick to refill / check on us at all times. 100% will go again when back in New York!

I was here on a Sunday evening for a friend's birthday dinner. In total, there were 10 of us. The service despite our large group was phenomenal. Drinks and food both came out quickly and everything was delicious. Our group shared just about everything from their hot appetizers list and everything was exceptional. I'd personally recommend their scallops, foie gras gyoza and grilled octopus! But as I mentioned, everything was yummy. I later enjoyed the sea bass which I'll absolutely be back for. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

Visited BONDST Sushi on a busy Friday night and the place did not disappoint. It's situated in Downtown Manhattan and offers a lively atmosphere with modern decor. The staff greeted us warmly and we got seated quickly. The cocktail menu caught our attention first. I tried the Ginger Dragon based on the bartender's suggestion - a great choice with a nice kick. The Toasted Barley Old Fashioned was another hit at our table, warranting a second round. Appetizers were the standout of the evening. The Big Eye Tuna Tart, especially with the special salt, was a flavor bomb. However, while the sushi was fresh and well-prepared, it didn't quite live up to the appetizers. It was good, just not as memorable. A heads-up for future visitors: our waitress recommended a lot of dishes, and we ended up over-ordering. While all delicious, it was more than our group of 8 could manage. So, maybe order conservatively. Overall, BONDST offers a fantastic dining experience with its great vibe and unique dishes. Just be mindful of how much you order. Definitely worth a visit for the drinks and appetizers alone.

Outstanding!! Queue The Gap Band! We tried this place on a whim and I'm so glad we did. My husband, our 3 yr old, our 10 month old and I went here for a nice dinner after shopping at Hudson Yards (so nice!). We kicked it off with a Lychee martini for mom and a Serrano margarita for dad. We loved both cocktails-- they were well balanced and delicious. We ordered the Hamachi for appetizer and it was fresh and the sauce was so yummy! I ordered the scallop jalapeño roll which is quite possibly my favorite sushi roll ever. That roll is a must try. There's an aioli dipping sauce and the roll is luscious. A word I used to describe it was fatty but is a decadent way. My husband loved his roll as well. It was a salmon avocado roll. This place was so nice and I want to acknowledge how patient and kind our server was. She was so hands on with our 3 yr old. Helping him color and even introducing this picky 3 yr old to edamame which he loved. Typically parents opt not to take their children to nicer restaurants but we think it's important to 1. Enjoy our lives and continue doing the things we love like eating at nice restaurants and 2. We think it's important to expose them to different cuisines and places. We felt so welcomed here and will definitely be back!! The food and service were unbeatable.

Bondst has really great quality sushi and unique dishes you may not see at other sushi spots. They had a great variety of rolls, appetizers, and mains. We ordered a whole bunch of items to try and none of them disappointed. We especially liked the tuna crispy rice! Big eye tuna tarts Crispy shrimp Salmon avocado roll Tuna crispy rice Sea bass with mushrooms The reason for 4 stars is that although we arrived on time for our 9:15PM reservation, we weren't seated until 30 minutes later. Waiter service was a little slow to start but once we got our order in the food started coming quickly. I recommend this for a special occasion or dinner out but be prepared to wait in a crowded lobby area.
